New Year's Polar Dip 2018

Edited by Admin
January 1st was a quiet day on campus...until the roar of the chainsaw cutting a hole in the ice at the swim docks echoed across the lake.  Next came high-pitched shrieks from myself and my children Angeline, Eve, and Miles as we hit the water to ring in the New Year.  The air was -22 degrees, making the zero-ish water seem balmy in comparison.

For those who are sorry you missed it, there will be another opportunity at the Winter Carnival on February 20th.  Come on out and see what the pickerel are doing in mid-winter!
