On Friday, May 12, the RLC Arts Council hosted the Rhythm for Reason Music Recital at the Church of the Redeemer in Rosseau.
The event was a fundraiser in support of mental health initiatives for the Rosseau Nursing Station. Guests from the school and local community enjoyed performances by the RLC choir, music students/staff, and Arts Council members. A wide range of instruments, arrangements, and movements were performed, including an original piece by Arts Prefect Emma C., the event organizer.
After the show finished and draw prizes were distributed, guests enjoyed refreshments in Frost Hall and got to speak with our talented musicians. This was a great event for a great cause, and was thoroughly enjoyed by members of the school and local community. We hope this is the most recent of many outstanding community-based initiatives for RLC!
