Preparations for the 2017-2018 academic year are well underway, with the Prefect Application process started.
The current Prefect Team made a presentation to the student body early last week about the responsibilities of each position and encouraged grade 10 and 11 students to apply for student leadership positions for the upcoming school year.
Applications were due this past Friday and are being reviewed by the Faculty Advisors and the Head Prefects.
Applicants will be given speech guidelines on Thursday, May 4th and will introduce themselves, announcing their candidacy to the school community at Head’s Lunch on Monday, May 8th.
Each candidate will deliver a speech at 11:30 in the RAC on Friday, May 12th. Students and faculty will vote that day after the speeches.
Once the student leadership team is elected, they will begin working with the current prefects on preparations for next year.
